ALBRECHT, Erven - Peacefully to his eternal home, on Friday, January 20, 2006 at the Freeport Health Centre of Grand River Hospital. Mr. Albrecht resided at RR 2, Wellesley. Erven was born in Kingwood 85 years ago. Son of the late George Albrecht and the late Elizabeth Schmidt. He was a life long member of the Maple View Mennonite Church, where he was active as a Trustee, Sunday school teacher and served on the food committee. Erven was a dairy farmer until 1981. He was still active with his sons until ill health forced him to slow down.Beloved husband of Eva (Jantzi) Albrecht of RR 2, Wellesley. Dear father of Paul and his wife Bernice Albrecht of RR 2, Wellesley and Mark and his wife Patty Albrecht of RR 2, Wellesley. Dear brother of John and his wife Pat Albrecht of Wellesley, Erma and her husband Ohmer Leis of Wellesley and Emma Lichti of Linwood. Lovingly remembered by his grandchildren, Mallory and friend John, Melissa and Michelle, Christopher, Alexander, Anthony and Jeremiah. Brother-in-law of Melvin Lichti and Loreen Jantzi.Predeceased by a sister, Mary Yutzi; by brothers-in-law, Emmanuel Jantzi, Anson Yutzi and Albert Lichti and by a sister-in-law, Mary Lichti.Visitation at the Futher Bros. Funeral Home, 1172 Henry St. in Wellesley, where family and friends will be received on Sunday from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. The funeral service will be conducted at the Maple View Mennonite Church on Monday, January 23, 2006 at 2 p.m. Pastor Bruce Sawatsky will officiate. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.Memorials to Grand River Foundation (Freeport Hospital) or to the Canadian Cancer Society would be appreciated as expressions of sympathy.
