William H Mitchell (1909-1979) married Florence Minnie Buford (1909-1999) on Jul 4,1928 at the Crane County Courthouse, Crane, TX by Rev James Millford Griffin (1882-1965) a Baptist Minister in Crane. Buster had met Florence when many times in Carlsbad. At age 18, Buster traveled the 172 miles from Carlsbad to Crane TX and proposed to Florence and she accepted.
