Blanche Valda Rhine, 88, 400 Lions Drive, died today at Oak Hill Hospital, Joplin, after a 10 year illness.
Mrs. Rhine was born Nov. 11, 1903, in Maryville. She moved to Neosho in 1931 from Frontenac, Kan. She was a homemaker.
Her first husband, Allen McFadyen, died January 1960. She married Vernon Rhine who preceded her in death 1976.
She is survived by one daughter, Anna Craig, Shamrock, Texas; one son, Robert McFadyen, Neosho; one brother, Paul Lucas, Tucson, Ariz.; three sisters, Una May Wise, Shreveport,La., Flossie (last name unknown), Tucson, and Comna (last name unknown, Mississippi; 20 grandchildren; several great-grandchildren and several great-great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be at 10 a.m. on Monday at Clark Chapel of Memories, with Rev. Clifford Smith officiating. Burial will follow in the Neosho IOOF Cemetery.
Pallbearers will be Thomas Craig, James Craig, Jack Blevins, Eddie Lawson, Bobby McFadyen and David Miller.
The family will be at the home of Robert McFadyen, 14000 Ozark Drive.
