MRS. DITLOW'S RITES
Funeral services were held this afternoon at 2 o'clock at the LePell Funeral home for Mrs. Abraham Ditlow, 86, of Deep River, who died at Porter Memorial hospital Saturday morning after a two months' illness.
She was born Aug. 16, 1869, in Kankakee county, Illinois. She was the former Anna Cremer. Her parents were David and Jane (Thompson) Cremer. She was married Sept. 20, 1892, to Abraham Ditlow at Wheeler.
Surviving are two sons, Cecil of Blackwell, Okla., and Raymond of Union township, and a daughter, Mrs. Elsie Maxwell of Valparaiso; nine grandchildren and one sister, Mrs. Minnie Miller of Clearwater, Fla.
Preceding her in death were her husband, a son, Lloyd, a daughter, Beulah, and four brothers, Ben, Charles, Edwin and Herbert Cremer.
The Rev. Jack Hollar of the Deep River Christian church officiated at the services. Pallbearers were all grandsons of the deceased and were Clyde Maxwell, Burl Maxwell, Cris McDonald, Robert Taylor, Edward Landgrebe and Thomas Hauff.
Burial was held in Mosier cemetery, southwest of Valparaiso.
