Word has been received here of the death of a former Duquesne resident, Carl W. Pirl, 69, on Saturday in Lincoln, Neb. Mr. Pirl of 4842 Adams St. Lincoln, was born Jan 26, 1892 in Rockland, Pa. He was the son of the late Fred W. Pirl and Jennie Smith Pirl. He formerly had been associated with his father in a hardware business in Duquesne. He was a member of the Beaver Crossing Lutheran Church of Lincoln. He leaves a widow, Mrs. Ann Pirl; two daughters, Mrs. Virginia McKinney of Ventura, Cal., and Mrs. Wilda Leonard of Chicago; three sisters, Mrs. Louise Schminkey, Mrs. Jean Fullerton and Mrs. Rose Luker, and two brothers, Thomas and Edward Pirl, all of Duquesne. Services and interment will take place tomorrow in Lincoln.
