Anthony J. "Tony" DiArchangel, 90 of Springfield, PA Anthony J. "Tony" DiArchangel, 90, of Springfield, PA formerly of Clifton Heights, died January 11, 2011 at Lankenau Hospital. He was born in Philadelphia and lived around 49th St in West Philadelphia. He then moved to Clifton Heights, where he lived for 60 years. He attended St. Thomas More High School. He was a veteran of WWII as a paratrooper in the 101 Airborne Screaming Eagles. he participated in the invasion of Normandy on D-day. Tony worked at the evening Bulletin as a Truck driver for over 30 years in the Union Local 628. He was a member of Our Lady of Angel Church and Holy Cross Church. He is predeceased by his wife Lean (nee Pandoli) DiArchangel. Survivors: Daughter, Patricia A. (Charles) Miller and Son, Anthony (Denise) DiArchangel; Grandchildren: Nicole Miller, Andrea (Stephen) Devenney, Anthony (Cindy) DiArchangel III, Carla Miller and Kristen (Danny) Ganley and 8 great grandchildren Service: Sat. January 15, 2011 1:00pm Holy Cross Church, 651 E. Springfield Rd, Springfield, PA Visitation: Sat. January 15, 2011 after 12:00pm in the church Burial: SS Peter & Paul Cemetery
