Terry is survived by his wife Kerri of the home; four sons- Sean Michael Horton, Kenneth Scott Horton, Jonathan Daniel Horton and Perry William Horton; one daughter- Tabitha Horton; one grandson- Haedon Horton. His parents Kenneth and Helen Horton of Hominy; mother-in-law Karlyn Holt of Broken Arrow and father-in-law Gary Scott Holt of Georgia. Two brothers- Hal Horton of Oklahoma City and Justin Horton of Hominy; two sisters- Donna Lynes of Flower Mound, Texas and Deb Preschler of The Woodlands, Texas. Ex-wife Cathleen Horton (Sean's mother) of New Hampshire and numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins.
He was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, Mildred and Orville Taylor, paternal grandparents, Willis "Jack" Jackson and Esther Naomi Horton.
Services were Tuesday, May 6, 2008 at 10:00 a.m. at First Baptist Church, Hominy with Rev. Mark Formby officiating. Pianist was Velta and "Amazing Grace" by vocalist Naomi Youtsey, Carol Pickle, Mary Ruth Combs and Martha Reeves. Casket bearers were Justin Horton, Mark Horton, Andy Horton, Elvin Lloyd Horton, Shelton Horton, Nathan Lynes, Don Hadley and Anthony Henley. Interment at the A.J. Powell Memorial Cemetery with military honors by the Vance Air Force Base.
