"BEEKER - The funeral of Mrs. Barbara Gerber Beeker, who died Saturday at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Theodore Hey, in Lansing, will take place from the Kochville M. E. church at 1 o'clock Wednesday afternoon, Rev. A. F. Renkel officiating. Burial will be in Kochville cemetery, Mrs. Beeker was born Dec. 17, 1855, at Kochville and was married to Anton Beeker of Kochville Nov. 4, 1871. Mr. Beeker died Oct. 28, 1924. One daughter, Laura, died in 1905. Mrs. Beeker is survived by five children: Edward and Charles of Kochville, Theodore of Saginaw, Mrs. Edward Marti of Detroit, and Mrs. Hey of Lansing. She also leaves 16 grandchildren and 11 great grandchildren as well as a brother, John Gerber of Kochville."
