He moved to New Port Richey 13 years ago from Pleasantville, New Jersey. He was a member of the Assembly of God Church, Veteran of Foreign Wars Holiday Post 10167. American Legion Post 173 Holiday and Colonial Hills Civic Assoc.

He was a WWII Navy Veteran, a Security Specialist with the Federal Aviation Administration and was former Captain of Police Force at NASEC in Pomona.

Survivors include his wife Delores, five sons: Scott A., William Jr, Michael, Stephen and David, two daughters: Vivian Ricci and Patricia Faunce, three brothers: Wilmore, Chester Jr. and Joseph, five sisters: Mildred Van Horn, Florence String, Miriam McCann, Ruth Briel and Martha Lynch, 20 grandchildren, 2 great grandchildren.
