The Frederick Post - April 8, 1971
Oscar Francis Stang, 82, formerly of Dawsonville, where he operated a grocery store for many years, died Tuesday at the home of his cousin, Halfdan Zimmerman, Jefferson.
He is survived by a brother, Peter J. Stang, Wheaton.
Friends may call at Hilton Funeral Home, Barnesville, today from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. where services will be held Friday at 11 a.m.
Rev. Hayden L. Sparks, pastor of Poolesville Methodist Church, will officiate.
Interment will be in Monocacy Cemetery, Beallsville.
