MRS. PEARSON STANTON
TRAVELERS REST - Mrs. Grace Pruitt Stanton, 71, of Rt. 3, Terry Creek community, widow of Pearson Stanton, died Sunday.
A native of Greenville County, daughter of the late William Allen and Victoria Pruitt, she was a Baptist.
Surviving are a daughter, Mrs. Mildred Cifers of Jacksonville, Fla.; two brothers, Carl and Claude Pruitt of Willington, Del.; a sister, Mrs. Della Schmith of Long Green, Md.; three grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
Services will be at 4 p.m. Tuesday at North Fork Baptist Church, with burial in Mount Page Baptist Church cemetery, Saluda, N.C.
The family is at the home and will receive friends at Johnson Funeral Home from 7 to 9 p.m. Monday. The body will be placed in the Church at 3 p.m. Tuesday.
