Charles E. Strasburg, 68, of Pleasant Grove, died Monday, May 25, 1987 at his home following a long illness.
He was born July 6, 1918 in American Fork to Evar M. and Esma Goode Strasburg. He married Hazel West Sept. 28, 1937 in Provo.
He was employed in construction and later at Geneva Steel for 24 years. He retired in 1972.
He served in the Army during World War II.
He was a member of the LDS Church, living in the Pleasant Grove 16th Ward.
He is survived by his wife of Pleasant Grove; three sons and three daughters: Mrs. Gordon (Julia Ann) Hawkins, Provo; Joan Jeppson and Thomas Evar Strasburg, both of American Fork; Charles Lynn Strasburg and Steven Lee Strasburg, both of Lehi; Mrs. Jack (Barbara Jean) Wilkinson, Lindon; 16 grandchildren; two brothers and two sisters: Mrs. Earl (Thelma) Chidester and Glen Strasburg, both of Highland; Mrs.Dean (Ila) Adams, Lindon; Leland Strasburg, Calif.
Graveside services will be Thursday at noon at the Pleasant Grove City Cemetery. Friends may call at Olpin Family Mortuary, 500 S. 300 East, Pleasant Grove, Thursday from 10:30 until 11:45 a.m.
