He was a native of West Helena, AR, a retired Army veteran, a retired employee from the Louisville Metro Department of Corrections and a member of Corinthian Baptist Church. He is survived by his wife, Mary Green; daughters, Sharon Carthan (Lonnie) and Nancy Banks (Byron), both of Arkansas, Ann Johnson (Charles C.), Danielle and Gabrielle Pendleton; sons, Glen (Pam) and David Green (Brenda) both of Arkansas, Terry, Marion and George Pendleton; sister, Rita Erby, brother, Karl Erby both of Arkansas; 25 grandchildren; and 10 great-grandchildren. Funeral is noon on Monday at his church, 1916 W. Jefferson Street. Burial in Kentucky Veterans Cemetery. Visitation is 6-9 p.m. Sunday at the church. Arrangements by G.C. Williams.
