Miriam Amanda Enck, 87, of 923 Broad St., Akron, died unexpectedly of natural causes at home on March 14.
Born in Akron, she was the daughter of the late William B. and Ella V. Ruth Enck, and was a lifelong Akron resident.
Employed for 56 years with the former Miller-Hess Shoe Co. of Akron, she retired in 1977.
She is survived by eight nieces and nephews.
Services were held at the convenience of the family. There was no viewing. Interment was in the Zion Lutheran Cemetery, Akron. The Stradling Funeral Home, 30 N. 9th St., Akron, was in charge of arrangements.
