Mrs. Ellen Ruth Enck, 82, 923 Broad street, Akron, died Tuesday at the Bair Convalescent Home, Brownstown, after an illness of eight years. She was the widow of William B. Enck.
Born in Akron, she was a daughter of the late Samuel and Amanda Verns Ruth and was a lifetime resident of Akron.
She is survived by four children, Charles R. and Mae, wife of Elvin E. Frymyer. both of Ephrata; Paul R., Akron, and Miss Miriam A., at home. Eight grandchildren and six great-grandchildren also survive. She was the last of her immediate family.
Funeral Friday at 2 in Stradling Funeral Home and interment in Zion Lutheran cemetery.
