Florence Wittig Brant, 89, of Crystal River, FL, passed away December 6, 2010, under the loving care of her family. She was born to Emil and Helen Wittig on September 16, 1921, in Chicago, IL. She was a teacher most of her life, a graduate of Moody Bible Institute College and a member of Seven Rivers Presbyterian Church in Lecanto.
Florence was preceded in death by her husband, the Rev. Robert O. Brant. She is survived by her children, Judith Brant (Jack Brennan), George Brant (Phyllis), Timothy Brant, MD (Kay) and Roberta Brant (Richard Toothaker); siblings, Helen Morgan, Esther Johnson, Emil Wittig (Alice) and Lois Yates (Paul); 8 grandchildren; and 6 great-grandchildren.
Private arrangements will take place under the direction of Brown Funeral Home & Crematory in Lecanto, FL.
