Carolyn Watson Adkins, age 70, a resident of Shreveport, Louisiana died Sunday, February 21, 2010 in the LifeCare Hospital in Shreveport.
She was born February 25, 1939 in Horatio, Arkansas and later moved to Shreveport.
Mrs. Adkins was preceded in death by her father, John Henry Watson and one brother, James D. Watson.
She is survived by her mother, Marjorie Janes Watson; two daughters and sons-in-law, Lisa and Dave Lawson and Sharon and Jodie Gary; one brother and sister-in-law, John Richard and Renee Watson; three grandchildren, Christian King, Ashley Lawson and Tyler Lawson; one great-granddaughter, Raylee King; one nephew, Heath Watson and wife Joni; one niece, Casey Gardiner and husband William; one great niece, Daelyn Bassham; four great-nephews, Jaymin Watson, Jaryn Watson, Finn Gardiner and Trinity Gardiner; and her grand-critters, OT, Ms. Monkey, Libby, Camille, Chip, Polly, Girly Girl and Fudge.
Visitation for Mrs. Adkins will be held from 10:00 a.m.-11:30 p.m., Saturday, February 27, 2010 at Wilkerson Funeral Home in De Queen. Graveside Funeral Services will follow at 1:00 p.m., in the Old Center Cemetery in Horatio, under the direction of Wilkerson Funeral Home in De Queen.
