Mrs. Flora Baker, 82, of Beallsville, died suddenly Saturday, October 14, 1939, in her home. She was the widow of James Baker who died years ago. Mrs. Baker had not been in good health, but her death was unexpected.
Mrs. Baker was born December 8, 1856, near Beallsville. She was a member of the Beallsville Methodist Church.
Surviving are one sister, Mrs. Allie Regester, of Beallsville; two stepdaughters, Mrs. Ora Hill, of Centerville, and Mrs. Effie Hill, of Pasadena, Calif., and one stepson Jess Baker, of Jamestown.
Funeral services were held this afternoon in the McDonough & Greenlee Funeral Home, at Beallsville, in charge of the Rev. D. D. Dillon. Burial will be in the Beallsville cemetery.
