Funeral services for Stacy Myers of Chillicothe were held Saturday afternoon in the Weber Funeral Home in Chillicothe with Rev. Kenneth Tyler of the Chillicothe Baptist Church officiating. Interment was in the Chillicothe Cemetery. The American Legion Post conducted graveside services.
Mr. Myers was born December 3, 1892, in LaPrairie Township, the son of Morgan and Elizabeth Myers. He was married to Edna Williams September 13, 1936, in Ottawa. He was a veteran of World War I and a member of Chillicothe Post 9, American Legion. He died Wednesday, October 23, in the Methodist Hospital where he had been a patient for one day.
Mr. Myers farmed in the Camp Grove area until he retired six years ago because of ill health. He and his family moved Saturday, October 19, from their farm home to Chillicothe.
Survivors are his wife, one son, Wayne Myers of Chillicothe; one brother, D.H. Myers of Rockford, O.; two sisters, Mrs. Frank Smith and Mrs. Howard Stamm, both of LaPrairie Township, and a number of nieces and nephews.
Preceding him in death were his parents and one brother, Walter Myers.
