-- ROCK HILL Ms. Mildred Hambrick Ledbetter, 77, of 445 Pendleton Street, passed away Saturday, October 3, 2009, at her home.

Graveside services will be 2 p.m. Tuesday, October 6, 2009, at Forest Hills Cemetery, with Dr. Phil Jones officiating.

Born in Chester, S.C., Mildred was a daughter of the late Luther and Anna Smith Hambrick and the widow of Horace Edward Ledbetter. She was a member of Trinity Church of the Nazarene where, prior to becoming ill, she had over 50 years of perfect attendance. She retired from Goodwill Industries where she worked as a manager for 20 years.

Surviving are her daughter, Teresa A. Rockholt and her companion, Larry Walker Jr., of Rock Hill; her brother, Alvin Hambrick of Swansboro, N.C.; her sister, Joann Haney of Bessemer City, N.C.; and three grandchildren, Timothy Rockholt Jr., Joshua Walker and Jasmine Walker. In addition to her parents and husband, Mildred was preceded in death by four sisters, Polly Lewis, Juanita Lewis, Elise Osborne and Betty Lou Johnson.

The family will receive friends from 3:30 to 5 p.m. Monday, October 5, 2009, at Greene Funeral Home Downtown Chapel, 355 E. White Street, Rock Hill, SC 29730, and other times at the home of her daughter, Teresa Rockholt, 211 Keels Avenue, Rock Hill, SC 29730.

Memorials may be made to Agape Community Hospice, 2115 Ebenezer Road, Rock Hill, SC 29732.
