Mrs. Ada Dallas Gaston, 91, formerly of Suzybole Road, died Sunday October 25, 2009 at Chester Regional Nursing Center. She was born June 3, 1918, a native of Union County, SC. She was a daughter of the late Jessaie Alexander Dallas and Effie Lillie Lowry Dallas. Mrs. Gaston attended the schools of Union County, SC was retired from Springs Industries as a spooler tender and was a member of MT Pleasant Presbyterian Church. She was the widow of Jim Love and John Woodrow Gaston.
Surviving is a daughter, Linda Estridge and her husband Jack of Kershaw, SC; two sons, Douglas Gaston and his wife Beatrice and Frayer Gaston all of Chester; thirteen grandchildren, seventeen great-grandchildren, two great-great graqndchildren, one sister, Lillian Neal of Rock Hill, SC and one brother Gene Dallas of Conway, SC. Mrs. Gaston was preceded in death by a daughter Louise Jeans and two grandchildren Terry Eugene Galloway and Steven Riley Estridge.
