Born in Lockhart, SC on July 3, 1922, he was the son of the late Jessie A. and Effie Lowery Dallas. Mr. Dallas was a WWII veteran serving in the "Mighty 8th" Army Air Corp in the European theatre.
He is survived by his wife of 48 years, Janet S. Dallas; a sister, Lillian Dallas Neal of Rock Hill SC; 2 daughters, Donna Dallas Brookshire of Myrtle Beach SC and Jenny Dallas Childers of Chester SC; 4 sons, Terry Dallas of Chester SC, William E Dallas Jr of Myrtle Beach SC, Kip A Dallas of Lubbock TX, David Aycock of Myrtle Beach SC, and Robert Aycock of Mathews, NC; 18 grandchildren and 20 great grandchildren.
A funeral service will be held at 2:00 PM Thursday, December 19, 2019 at Live Oak Church. Burial will follow at Southern Palms Memorial Gardens.
