Christian Jorgensen was the son of Jorgen Jorgensen and his first wife Pernellie Jensen. He married Anna "Annie" Giles on March 11, 1911 in Price, Utah. Known children: Elizabeth Pernellie, Christian Giles, Frederick Giles, Henry Giles, Hazel and Ardith June Jorgensen.

CHRISTIAN JORGENSON

WELLINGTON, Carbon County- Funeral services fo Christian Jorgenson, 76, Wellington, will be held Wednesday at 1 p.m. in Wellington ward chapel, Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, with Grant Gerber, bishop, officiating.

Mr. Jorgenson died Wednesday at a Price hospital.

He was born May 27, 1873, at Hyrum, son of Jorgen Jorgenson and Giwullia [sic] Jensen Jorgenson.

He was a long time resident of Wellington where he engaged in farming and stock raising.

He is survived by three sons, Chris Jorgenson, Henry Jorgenson and Fred Jorgenson and three daughters, Mrs. Elizabeth Barker, Mrs. Hazel Henderson and Mrs. Ardith Thayne, all of Wellington; one brother, Hyrum Jorgenson, Douglas, Ariz., and one sister, Mrs. Nellie Thompson, Greenriver [sic], and 13 grandchildren.

Burial will be in Price city cemetery under direction of Mitchell funeral home, Price.
