Martha Bisek Schilling of Renton, WA, went peacefully to be with her Lord on June 1, 2008, at the age of 89, after a long struggle with cancer. She was born March 20, 1919, in Mahnomen,, MN. Martha joined the Women's Army Auxiliary Corps after high school, then moved to Seattle, where she worked at Boeing and met her husband, Trueman. Her family was her greatest love, but she cherished everyone she met and enriched all our lives. She enjoyed being outdoors, walking and gardening. Martha is preceded in death by her husband and by brothers Jerry, Paul, Tom and Frank. She is survived by her sisters Beatrice Dusek and Mary "Babe" Christianson; her children Ralph (Joanne), Sandra (Loren Cowan), Lydia (David Roseberry) and Stephen; grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
