He leaves behind two sons; Marcus M. And David E., who just completed eight years of military service in Iraq and Afganistan . A young daughter from his first marriage, Michelle Rene died in 1979.
His earthly remains will be creamated and interred next to his step father, Edgar Nash, at Fairview Cemetery in Bluffton, Wells County, Indiana.
MARCUS JAMES MOFFITT, 63, of Fort Wayne, passed away unexpectedly on Thursday evening Jan. 6, 2011. Born in Uniondale, Indiana, he grew up in Bluffton, Ind. and Ontario, Canada. He returned to Indiana where he graduated from South Side High School in Fort Wayne. He loved to spend time with his family, especially his two sons. He worked for Perfection Biscuit Company, owned / operated North Anthony Car Wash, and as a maintenance assistant for Byron Health Center. He is survived by his sons, Marcus M. and David E. of Fort Wayne; brother, David (Deborah) of Polson, Montana. He was preceded in death by his mother, Marjorie Moffitt; father and step-mother, Maurice and Olive Moffitt and step-father, Edgar Nash; and a daughter Michelle, from his first marriage.
