William A Adams died on June 12, 1924 following a lingering illness lasting a couple of years. He suffered a parallytic stroke about a year ago and was in very poor health.
His funeral was held at the Methodist Church. Burial in the Verndale Green Lawn Cemetery.
He was born on April 17, 1857 at Cataquiss Co, ME, the son of Daniel and Josephine Adams.
He is survived by his wife of Verndale, one daughter, Mrs George Cox of Park Rapids, three sons, William and Marion of Montana and Eugene of Verndale., two sisters, Mrs Alonzo Witherell of McHenry ND and Mrs C C Brownell of Hubbard MN; three brothers, George and Grant of Graten MN and Francis of Verndale.
