ADA, Aug. 15 - Mrs. Margaret LaPorte, 86, died at the home of a daughter, Mrs. Opal Cheney, 244 W. North-st, Ada, at 4:30 p.m. Wednesday following an illness of two days.
Mrs. LaPorte was a member of the Ada Lutheran church.
Besides Mrs. Cheney, she is survived by another daughter, Mrs. Audrey Weaver, Columbus Grove; nine grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren; a sister, Mrs. Jeal King, Kenton.
Services will be at 2 p.m. Saturday in the Ada Lutheran church with Rev. C. L. Stager, pastor, officiating. Burial will be in Ada Woodlawn cemetery. The body will remain at the Lantz and Cretor funeral home until services.
