MARIENNE NANN SHERWOOD
Former Syracuse area resident Marienne Nann Sherwood died Aug. 22 in Phoenix, Ariz. Private memorial services will be Sept. 10. Burial was in Arizona.
A native of Syracuse's north side, Mrs. Sherwood also lived on Onondaga Hill before moving to Arizona in 1950. She was a resident of Mayer, Ariz., at the time of her death. Mrs. Sherwood had operated coffee and gift shops in Arizona. She was a communicant of St. Joseph's Church in Mayer, where she served as an organist, lector Eucharistic minister and CCD teacher.
Surviving are her husband, Kenneth D.; two sisters, Jane Strempel of Syracuse and Eve Harrison of Hudson, Fla.; three brothers, Jack of Largo, Fla., Herb of Syracuse and Fran Nann of Liverpool; and several nieces, nephews and cousins.
