Francis L. Nann

Francis L. Nann, age 93 passed away on Wednesday. He was an Army Veteran of WWII and was a life member and past president of Oneida Lake Anglers Association and founding member of Webster Pond. An avid bowler, golfer and outdoorsman, he bowled a 300 game at the age of 78. A member of the Pastime Athletic Club where he bowled until the age of 93 and still bowled 200 occasionally. He was an American Jr. Bowling Congress (AJBC) certified bowling instructor for 19 years at Lakeview Bowling Lanes and was also involved with Junior Achievement. He retired from Chrysler-New Process gear after 33 years as designing engineer.
Surviving are his daughter Maureen Moon and son-in-law Floyd, grandchildren Scott, Gretchen (Chad Tilley) and David, great-granddaughter Logan, sister-in-law Ruth Rogers and many nieces and nephews.
Calling hours will be 4 to 7 pm Wednesday January 4, 2017 at the Maurer Funeral Home, 300 Second St., Liverpool. A Funeral Service will be 11 am Thursday, January 5, 2017 at the funeral home. Burial will be in Greenlawn Cemetery.
Contributions may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital and the SPCA of Central NY.
