Murderer. Joseph Corbett, Jr., was the son of Canadian immigrant Joseph and Marion K. Corbett of Minnesota. He was a highly intelligent man and former Fulbright scholar at the University of Oregon but never finished his degree. In 1950 he murdered an Air Force Sergeant who was hitch-hiking near Hamilton Air Force Base in California, with a single gun-shot to the back of the man's head. Convicted of the kidnapping and murder of Adolph Coors III-heir to the Coors Brewery fortune in 1960.
