Lucile was the daughter of George Linden and Grace Walden. She was raised on the Columbia River with her 11 brothers and sisters. Their father was a fisherman and their home was a houseboat. Lucile wrote a book for her family regarding her life on the river. Lucile met and married Curtis Joseph Dennhardt in 1937. They had three children. Lucile was a cook at Sunny Hill School at Hauser, Oregon for many years.
