Mr. Davis, who had suffered from a long illness, had been a resident of Muncie for 18 years, coming here from Kentucky.
Surviving besides the widow, Mrs. Corilda Davis, are six sons, Hiram, Lavis, James, Dewey, and John, all of Muncie, and Alonzo Davis of Kentucky; five daughters, Mrs. Parthena Wilson of Detroit, Mrs. Mary L. Conn, Mrs. Nora McDowell, Mrs. Myrtle Huxhold, and Mrs. Corda Dance, all of Muncie; 65 grandchildren; and 16 great-grandchildren.
