FUNERAL WILL BE ON ANNIVERSARY
NORTH OGDEN, Dec 2 - celebration of the fifty -fifth wedding anniversary of Mrs. Mercy Maranda Judkins, 73, will be replaced Saturday by her funeral, Mrs. Judkins died Wednesday at the family home of heart trouble, following a four- year illness, with eight of her 10 children by her bedside.
Saturday is also the birthday of her husband, Eugene B. Judkins.
The funeral will be held at two p.m. in the North Ogden L.D.S. ward chapel under direction of Bishop H.S. Campbell. Friends may call at the family home Friday afternoon and evening and until time of services Saturday. Interment will be in the North Ogden city cemetery under direction of Lindquist & Sons.
Mrs. Judkins was born in North Ogden February 10, 1864, a daughter of Solomon and Lovina Campbell Campbell. Her parents were among the first settlers in the vicinity. She was married to Eugene B. Judkins in North Ogden December 4, 1882. She was a member of the L.D.S. church and active in her ward Relief Society.

Besides her husband she is survived by the following sons and daughters: David Judkins, Long Beach, Cal.; Mrs. Frank Campbell, Hyrum E. and Roy Judkins, North Ogden; Mrs. Joseph Crawford, Mrs. Edward V. Wright and Mrs. Joseph Micklwaite, Ogden; Mrs. Richard Van Ness, Fresno, Cal.; Leonard N. Judkins, Rigby, Ida., and Clyde Judkins, Carlin Nev.; one brother, Welcome J. Campbell, north Ogden; 35 grandchildren and 14 great - grandchildren.
