Mrs. Bennie Birdwell Dudney, 88, of 312 S Murry St, Gainesboro, died Friday, May 23, 1986 in Jackson County Hospital following an extended illness.
Funeral services for Mrs. Dudney were held yesterday at 2 p.m. at Anderson Funeral Home in Gainesboro. Burial was in the Rob Draper Memorial Cemetery in the Stone community in Jackson County.
Mrs. Dudney was born August 20, 1897 in Jackson County and was the daughter of the late Joseph Bedford and Ina Shoulders Birdwell. She was the wife of Jonah S Dudney who died April 21, 1965.
She was a member of the Gainesboro Church of Christ and was on the Board of Directors of the Jackson County Bank.
Her family includes a sister, Ruby Birdwell Dudney of Whitleyville; brothers Paul of Whitleyville and Walter of Carthage.
Bro. James Paul Anderson officiated at the services.
