NORA B. WILLIAMS
Nora B. Vickroy, daughter of Laura and Howard Vickroy, was born in Chariton on Oct. 15, 1888, and passed away on January 3, 1963, at Martha's Rest Home.
On February 4, 1909, she was united in marriage to F. A. Williams. To this union were born five children: Neva Jeffries of Chariton; Donald of Des Moines; and Glen, Howard and Sarah Seddon, who preceded her in death.
Besides husband and children surviving her are seven grandchildren: Richard Seddon, James, Joe and Carol Jeffries, Janice Christensen, Norman Williams and Jean Tittle; ten great-grandchildren; a sister, Lora Gilbreath of Fort Worth, Tex., a brother, Virgil Vickroy of Chariton; many nieces, nephews and a host of friends.
She was a life long member of the First Baptist Church of Chariton where she attended and served her Lord faithfully as long as her health permitted. She was a devoted wife and mother and will be greatly missed by the family and friends.
Services were held Saturday, January 5, at 1:30 p.m. at Beardsley-Fielding Funeral Home with the Rev. John Bauserman officiating. Interment was at Chariton cemetery.
