HOULE, Robert Lionel 81, of Clearwater and formerly of Manchester, NH passed away peacefully on Saturday, Jan. 1, 2011, at Suncoast Hospice House Brookside. The son of Joseph Houle and Lucianne (Therrien) Houle, he was born on Aug. 25, 1929 in Manchester, NH. He attended Manchester schools and was a U.S. Air Force veteran. He retired from Cotter and Company and moved to Clearwater in 2002. He was preceded in death by his wife of 58 years, Lorraine Houle. He was a loving father, grandfather and great-grandfather. He enjoyed traveling, photography and being with friends and family. Robert was a member of St. Michael's Church. He will be in his family's hearts forever. He is survived by his two beloved daughters, Elaine Tremblay and her husband Gerald Tremblay of Merrimack, NH and Denise Kobel of Clearwater; three grand-children, Christopher Tremblay, Amy Thomas and Courtney D'Aoust; three great-grandchildren, Nathan D'Aoust, Autumn Thomas, Quinn Tremblay; and step great-granddaughter, Mia Zelonis; two brothers, Maurice Houle of Georgia and Roland Houle of Manchester; as well as nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his brother, Roger Houle, sister Marcelle Scarborough and son-in-law George Kobel. The family would like to thank Suncoast Hospice House for their care and support. His funeral Mass will be held at St. Michael's Church on Friday, Jan. 7, at 1 pm. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests a donation to Suncoast Hospice Foundation, 5771 Roosevelt Blvd. Clearwater, FL 33760.
