Mrs. Duncan, Westover Drive Resident, Dies

"Mrs. Helon Norman Duncan, 50, wife of Mahlon Duncan and a resident of 607 Westover Drive died late Wednesday night at the Maury County Hospital. Funeral services for Mrs. Duncan will be conducted at 11 AM at the Oakes and Nichols Funeral Home. The Rev. Maury H. Norman, minister of the Red Bank Cumberland Presbyterian Church, will officiate. Burial will be in the Glenwood Cemetary. A native of Maury County, she was the daughter of the late Mrs. Mary Gibson Norman and W.H. Norman. She was a member of the Taylor's Chapel Methodist Church. For several years, Mrs. Duncan was employed by the Edric Manufacturing Company. Survivors include her husband, Mahlon Duncan of Columbia; one daughter, Mrs. George (Marthene) Anderson of Columbia; one son, Jimmy Duncan of Columbia; her father, W.H. Norman of Columbia; two brothers, Jerry Norman of Columbia and Charles Norman of Dade City, Florida; one grandchild, Stacey Anderson of Columbia; several nieces and nephews. Pallbearers will be Calvin Boswell, Horace Mosley, Billy Norman, David Wilson, Roy Weaver, Jerry Vick, Malcolm Shouse, T.V. Anderson and Odell Gibson."
