Services for Benjamin Roy Lasater, 79, were held at First United Methodist Church at Olney, Texas.

Benjamin Roy Lasater and Nita Snyder were married 8 September 1950 at Washington, DC.

Following his service in the U.S. Air Force, Benjamin Roy Lasater returned home and joined his father in the family business, Lasater Studios, which was established in 1918. On 1 January 1952, he and his wife purchased the business which they operated until his retirement in 2000.

Benjamin Roy Lasater was the recipient of several ribbons from the Texas Photography Association and Best Black and White Portrait in the five -state region. He was a member of First United Methodist Church, Olney Volunteer Fire Department and Olney Lions Club.

Survived by his wife; two daughters ; one sister - Jo Anne Green; three grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by one son - Ronald Roy Lasater.
