Mrs. Charles Booth, 1127 North Main street, died suddenly at 11 o'clock Thursday evening on an Eldorado street car. She had been attending Ladies Auxiliary of the Brotherhood of Locomotive Engineers in the home of Mrs. Fred Dolson, 1715 East North street and only ridden a block when the attack came. The car was stopped and she was removed to the home of George Shilling, 1653 East North street where the medical aid was summoned. The lung motor was also called but nothing could be done for her. Her death was supposed to have been caused by heart trouble from which she had been suffering several years.

Mrs. Booth would have been 53 years old in May. Her husband is an engineer on the Wabash and the family have made their home in Decatur the past ll years. She was an active member of the First Christian church and the Royal Neighbors.

Besides her husband, she leaves her children: Walter K. Booth of Milwaukee, Wis., C.A. Booth Jr. of Davenport, Iowa, Byron Booth of Warrensburg, Everett Booth of Indianapolis, Ind. and Thelma and Melba Booth of Decatur.
