Harry F. Austin, 83, of Mason was found dead in bed Monday morning in his home where he lived alone. The body was found by Mr. Austin's nephew, Harvey Austin. Mr. Austin died sometime during the night.
Mr. Austin was born August 6, 1867, in Summit township. He was the son of Alvin Austin and Eliza Austin. He had lived in Mason the past five years.
He is survived by one half-brother, William Henry Lowder of Effingham, four nephews and five nieces.
The body was taken to the Burk funeral home in Mason. Funeral services were held Wednesday at one o'clock at the funeral home with burial at Blue Point.
