MRS. AUGUSTA ZILK WAS PIONEER CITIZEN OF ITCHELL COUNTY
Riceville – Funeral services were held for Mrs. Augusta Zilk, 84, at the Congregational church Tuesday afternoon. She was a resident in this vicinity for many years, her marriage to William Zilk uniting two pioneer families of Mitchell County.
They were the parents of seven children; two of these and her husband preceding her in death.
She has made her home of late years with her daughter, Mrs. Alfred Harris at Waterloo, where her death occurred.
