The funeral of John Hubler who died at St. Joseph's hospital yesterday followiing an operation, will be held at 2 o'clock at Roscoe's and at 2:30 from the Madison Ave. Church of God Saturday. George Miller will be in charge and burial will be in Shaul cemetery. Mr Hubler was born in PA Dec. 24, 1832 and was the son of Peter and Mary Minnick Hubler. His ch. Adam M. of MO., Mrs. L.J. Champan, Oliver C., Mrs. M.A. Conder and Stewart all of Ottumwa survive. Mr. Hubler was well known in the south part of the county, where he lived for many years. The Hubler school house in that section was named for him.
