Funeral services for Rodo Apostolos, 71, of 1006 Arapahoe Ave., Rock Springs, were held Wednesday, Jan. 29, at 10 a.m. at the Holy Trinity Greek Orthodox Church, the Rev. Lukas Kotsakis officiating. Burial was in the Highland Cemetery in Casper.

Pallbearers were Tom Manatos, Joe Gaviotis, George Varras, Harry Nickolas, Spiro Varras and Mike August.

Mrs. Apostolos died at 8:30 p.m. Jan. 25 at the Memorial Hospital of Sweetwater County where she had been a patient for one day.

She was born in the village of Horafakia, Canea, Crete, Greece, the daughter of the late George and Anastasia Konrarakis Scandalakis. She came to the United States in 1921, moving to Hanna, Wyo. where she was married to Mike Apostolos on Nov. 20, 1921. They moved in 1925 to Rock Springs, where she had resided since.

She is survived by her husband, Mike, of Rock Springs; three sons, James M. Apostolos of Kalispell, Mont. and George and Michael, both of Casper; two brothers and four sisters, residing in Greece; three grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
