She was born in Goldonna, La., and moved to Dallas in 1920. She was a member of Fidelity Chapter of the Eastern Star.
Mrs. Weeden and her husband had owned and operated the Clifton Hotel Coffee Shop from 1946 to 1960.
Survivors: Husband; a son, Gerald D. Weeden of Dallas; two sisters, Mrs. Chona Shephard of Minden, La., and Mrs. Fannie Davis of Colfax, La.; four brothers, Claude [sic Claud] Lucky and Ed Lucky of Monroe, La., Elsey [sic Elzie] Lucky of Crossett, Ark., and Artmond Lucky of Shreveport, La.

Mrs. Weeden's death certificate gives her DOB as May 26, 1902. However, it is incorrect as she appears in the 1900 census for Natchitoches Parish, LA, b. May 1898.
