The funeral of Mrs. Viola B. Lucky, 77, of 508 Clayton street, West Monroe, who died Friday from the after effects of a fall received in her home, will be held in the Davis-Lawhead Funeral Home this afternoon at 2 p.m. Rev. R. H. Staples will officiate and interment will be made in Hasley Cemetery.

Pallbearers will be: Gurvy Shepard, Jr., Artmer Lucky, Jr., Tom Pinchley, Ernest Harrison, Jerry Butler and Everette Keller.

Mrs. Lucky had recently celebrated her 64th wedding anniversary and was highly active up to the time of her recent illness. She was a member of the First Methodist Church and Order of the Eastern Star. She was born in Bienville Parish where she spent her girlhood.

She is survived by her husband, J. W. Lucky; six sons: R. E., E. W., C. C. and E. G., all of Monroe and W. A. Lucky, Shreveport; and E. E. Lucky, Crossett, Ark.; three daughters, Mrs. G. Shepard, Minden; Mrs. E. E. Davis, Colfax and Mrs. Ollie Weedon, Dallas; three brothers, Cleve and Dock Bishop of Natchitoches and Clarence Bishop; several grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
