Gladys Lockie Testerman, 87, of Smithsburg, formerly of Clarksburg, died April 23 at the Kline Hospice House in Mount Airy.
Born Nov. 21, 1918, in Johnson City, Tenn., she was a daughter of the late James and Isabell Johnson Rambo.
She was the wife of the late Herbert L. Testerman.
Mrs. Testerman was an active member of her church. She attended Clarksburg Baptist Church, later the Clarksburg Church of God, and Dawsonville Mennonite Church.
Survivors include three children, Scott Testerman and friend LaRue Moxley of Clarksburg, Barbara C. Bladen and husband Austin of Rockville and Charles Testerman and wife Debra of Smithsburg; a son-in-law, Dan Castro of Mt. Pleasant, S.C.; two sisters, Dora Hurley and Marjorie Byrd, both of Frederick; and one brother, William D. Rambo of Albuquerque, N.M. She was preceded in death by a daughter, Iva Castro.
Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. today at Molesworth-Williams P.A., Funeral Home, 26401 Ridge Road., Damascus. Interment will follow in Monocacy Cemetery, Beallsville.
