Mrs. Lille Mae Richards, age 92, of Culpeper, died on Tuesday, December 28, 2010 at Culpeper Health & Rehabilitation Center.

Mrs. Richards was born June 9, 1918 to the late John and Martha Brent. She was the widow of the late David A. Richards.

Lillie was a wonderful wife, mother and grandmother. Her gentle spirit comforted many friends and relatives.

Survivors are a son, Joseph L. Richards (Angie); brothers, Ernest Brent (Viola) of Culpeper and Harrison Brent of Warrenton; sisters, Mrs. Vivian Glass of Phila-delphia, Pa., Mrs. Ella Drumgoole and Mrs. Ruth Meney (Solomon) of Culpeper; thirteen grandchildren, nineteen great-grandchildren and fourteen great-great-grandchildren; two granddaughters-in-law; one grandson-in-law and a host of other relatives and friends.

The family will receive friends on Sunday, January 2, 2011 from 6 to 8 p.m. and Monday, January 3, 2011 at 10 a.m. to 11 a.m. at Antioch Baptist Church, Culpeper, followed by services to celebrate her life. Rev. Ludwell Brown, officiating. Interment will follow at Fairview Cemetery. Services entrusted to W.C. Thompson Funeral Home of Culpeper, Va.
