Glen H. Burman, 54, of Homedale, died Saturday, Sept. 28, in a Boise hospital. Mr. Burman was born Aug. 11, 1931, in Nampa, a son of Wesley L. and Oneta Nowland Burman. He was reared and educated in Marsing and as a young man worked on the family farm. He served with the U.S. Army in the signal corps and following his military service returned to the Marsing area. He married Mary Kenny on May 22, 1960, in Marsing and the couple made their home there for five years. They moved to Melba where he worked on the M&M Ranch for two years and then moved to Homedale where they have since resided. He had worked for the Continental Telephone Company in Homedale for 26 years. He was an avid outdoorsman and enjoyed hunting, fishing and camping with his family.
He is survived by his wife of Homedale; two sons, Wesley Burman and Edgar Burman, both of Homedale; three daughters, Jane Burman and Arlene Burman, both of Homedale and Mrs. Clinton (Becky) Blake of Burley; his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Wesley Burman of Marsing; three brothers, Denis Burman of Pitcarin, Penn., Don Burman and Richard Burman, both of Marsing; two sisters, Arlene Krause of Portland, Ore., and Mrs. Richard (Mary Jane) Percy of Salt Lake, Utah; a grandson, David James; two step-grandchildren, Travis and Amanda; one niece and three nephews.
