Wesley L. Burman
Wesley L. Burman, 83, of Marsing, died Wednesday, Aug. 3, 1988, at home of natural causes. Mr. Burman was born Oct. 28, 1904, at Elwood, Utah, the son of John and Bertha Braegger Burman. He was reared and educated in the Elwood area and moved with his family in 1920 to the Franklin District north of Nampa. He married Oneta Nowland on Aug. 23, 1927 in Nampa. The couple farmed in the Franklin community until moving in 1941 to a 40-acre farm in the Jump Creek area where they have since resided. Mr. Burman retired from farming in 1966. He was a member of the Marsing Ward Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, and he enjoyed hunting, fishing and gardening.

He is survived by his wife, Oneta of Marsing; three sons, Denis of Monroeville, Pa. and Don and Richard, both of Marsing; two daughters, Arlene Krause of Portland, Ore. and Mary Jane Percy of Salt Lake City, Utah; a brother, W.A. "Bill" Burman of El Cajon, Calif.; a sister, Mae Reeser of Rexburg, Idaho; eight grandchildren; three step grandchildren; two great grandchildren; four step great grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, three brothers, two sisters, a son, Glen, a grandson and a great granddaughter.
