"Civl War Veteran Answers Last Call
Henry K. Murphy a veteran of the Civl War died suddenly last evening about 5 o'clock, while sitting in his chair at his home. He had been an invalid for a number of years but was able to be out and on Wednesday visited the G. A. R. Hall. Mr. Murphy enlisted in Company G 15th Regiment O. V. I. and served his country during the four years of the Civil War. He would have been 73 years old in March. He is survived by his wife and two daughters; Mary and Katherine at home; three half brothers and two half sisters; A. R. Murphy and Charles Murphy of this city, Maj. T. O. Murphy, Washington D. C., Mrs. John Abbott of east Mansfield and Mrs. Elmer Terman who lives north of the city. Funeral will be Monday afternoon at 2 o'clock with the G. A. R. in charge."
